End of Newsletter

The Parry Sound area offers exceptional riding for road, gravel and mountain biking. Read through the highlights below, join one of our group rides or stop by the shop for a coffee and route advice.

Road Rides

Parry Sound has great road riding, with endless quiet roads and lots of perfect pavement. Some of our favourite roads are: Highway 518 & Tally Hoe Swords Road, East & West Carling Bay Road, Rankin Lake & Blackstone Crane Lake Road, Clearlake Road, Shebeshekong & Skerryvore Community Road, Highway 520 & The Bunny Trail.

If you're a Strava user follow Aleesha Clark, Parry Sound Bikes check out 30+ of the best rides (ranging from 20km to 160km).

Mountain Biking & Family Rides

The Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre has long been to go to place for cross country skiing in the area. In 2015 it also became a centre with great double track and single track bike trails. The double track trails offer smooth open trails that wind through the woods; great for kids and new riders. The Georgian Nordic single track makes use of the Canadian shield and offers riders a challenging rocky, rooty path up and down the rocks and ridges. Membership or day pass required to ride; memberships and day passes available online at Get Outdoors Parry Sound or in person at Parry Sound Bikes.

If you're looking for a family day trip or a place to camp, check out Killbear Provincial Park. Killbear Provincial Park is located 35km from Parry Sound and offers a nice bike path for family rides and great beaches.
