Saturday Morning Road Ride (July, August)

7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Parry Sound Bikes

The Saturday Morning Road Ride is a great way to kick off the weekend in Parry Sound. The aim of this ride is to get out early for a 2-hour ride with an average pace of 28-30km/hour. Recommended for road bikes, and riders who are comfortable riding in a group.

Cancellation Policy: Our Saturday group ride will run rain or shine, but will be considered cancelled if dangerous weather is present or forecasted.

Parry Sound Bikes 100km Ride, Sunday July 12th

Ride leaves from Parry Sound Bikes at 9:00 a.m.

Each year we host a supported 100km road ride! This is a free event and a great way to meet other riders. You can ride as a group, on your own, or with a friend. We’ll choose a scenic 100km local route that highlight some of the best roads in Parry Sound. The ride starts and ends at Parry Sound Bikes, and we provide a mid-way rest stop with snacks and drinks.

The route is fully paved with moderate hills. We ask that rides be able to complete the course in 5 hours (as a curtesy to our rest stop volunteers). We’ll post the route and include the GPX file closer to the date (we’re waiting on pending road construction before finalizing the route for 2026).

Off The Rails Gravel Party 2025 (August 30th) *Route TBD

Veer off the paved road and join us for 105 kilometers of gravel goodness, followed by a meetup at Trestle Brewery! This fully supported event is run a little differently from most of our rides in that there are no set groups. Instead, riders will have the option to make their own groups with friends, ride with new people, or even by yourself if you prefer the solitary experience. We'll be meeting at Joseph Hannon Memorial Park, in Orrville, and ideally be ready to spin by 9 a.m. This beautiful route features a mix of paved sections, winding gravel roads and an optional section of the Seguin Trail for an added challenge. We will have two primary rest stops with the first being the deliciously popular Cornball Store at 35km into the route. The second stop will be provided by Missing Link Adventure Tours at 57km in. Rob and Julia have generously offered the use of their lovely property, just off Stisted Road, where riders can refill bottles, snack out on an assortment of goodies and have the use of their washroom facilities. After returning to Orrville, riders will be directed to Trestle Brewery back in Parry Sound. Trestle has reserved the Beirgarten just for us and has even included a complimentary beverage for each registered participant - there's no better way to end an epic ride!
